Costa Calma means ‘Calm Coast’, and the resort is situated on the edge of the national park area of Jandia in Fuerteventura. The highlight of Costa Calma holidays is the long sandy beach of Playa Barca to the South West where you can try your hand at jet ski-ing, windsurfing and sailing. The beach also has beach bars, sunbeds and sun umbrellas.

Costa Calma was originally built around a small village called Canada Del Rio, and care was taken when developing the resort to make sure that the coutryside didn’t disappear under concrete. There is a ‘green zone’ that runs the length of the resort, providing a haven for wildlife.
